The original company was founded in 1970 under the name Captain Chris Cruises, and was the first company operating cruises to and from Famagusta to the relatively unknown Ayia Napa, then just a small fishing village.
The vessel now in operation is the Aphrodite II which is fully up to specification with current e.u. Maritime law.
